So, I love DIY projects and managed to talk my Hubby into letting me get some Chickens.
This is our second year in, and we love having them. The kids named the coop Happy Hens (after the story Daisy Comes Home) and Lenah started taking a couple of regular customers for weekly eggs, so the girls feed themselves.
Bees might be our next adventure. Currently we also have Nell, the Standard Schnauzer and Felix a baby Giant Flemish rabbit.
We love to learn more about clean eating, leaving a greener footprint, urban homesteading, gardening, like to try new things and will share them with you, so check in for post updates frequently.
